In recent times there has been a significant movement with developers implementing dark modes across products and websites. Dark Mode has been showing to reduce eye strain, reduce battery consumption and overall provide a much more pleasant viewing experience.
Brave has thankfully implemented dark mode across it’s mobile versions of Brave Browser, which is a much welcomed addition. You may find once you turn it on, you may never turn it off again! If you want to know how to turn on dark mode in the desktop versions of Brave, see our guide here. Let’s take a look how to enable dark mode on Android and iOS.
Be on the Latest Version of Brave
The end of 2019 saw significant improvements in dark mode, so if you are running an older version of Brave on your mobile device, now would be a good time to upgrade. To ensure you are on the latest and updated version of Brave, simply head to you Google Play or Apple Store app page.
Go Into Settings
Open up Brave Browser and hit the 3 dots on the bottom right, and select Settings from the menu that pops up.
Scroll down a little bit and select “Appearance”.
Enable the Dark Mode theme.
And that’s it! Dark Mode on Android and iOS is buried down in the settings a little bit so we hope this article helped you find how to enable it. Your eyes will thank you!
